Dollar Beard Club Reviews - What Is It?

WARNING: DO NOT BUY Dollar Beard Club Until You Read This Review!
Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work? Check Ingredients, Side Effects and More! Emily Butler

Dollar Beard Club is a new online subscription service that provides the delivery of custom-made boxes with beard products to your threshold on a monthly basis, including balms, oils, waxes, growth accelerators, shower items, and more. The company behind the service is based out of Huntington Beach, CA, and was co-founded by serial entrepreneur Chris Stoikos and RangeToGo (a portable driving range). Chris also founded Project CoPilot (a company that deals with crowdfunded projects) and CoolBox (a toolbox shown on Shark Tank). Dollar Beard Club has been in business since 2015 and its branded products claim to deliver no fees or commitment, big savings, and exclusive events. But can their products really help you grow a beard of your dream? Is there a better competition?

Before puberty, the hair on a man's body is soft and straight and is called vellus hair. There is another type of hair on the scalp, called terminal. It is thicker, longer, and darker than the rest of the body's hair. After puberty, most of a man's body hair (except for the head) gets curly, thick, and wiry (androgenic hair). It looks so much different because its follicles twist due to testosterone. The coverage of a man's beard and its thickness has a lot to do with the amount of testosterone. These characteristics can't be changed using waxes, oils, and so forth. But you can make sure that your body has all the necessary nutrients, including vitamin B5, C, and E; inositol, biotin, niacin, etc. Beard hair requires different care because face skin is more sensitive than scalp skin. A shampoo for cleansing head hair is usually too drying for the face.

Dollar Beard Club

As it was already mentioned, because of beard hair's wiry texture, it requires more conditioning than scalp hair does, as well as special beard brushes and combs. Let's take a look at the Dollar Beard Club lineup that includes different products to nurture your beard, deliver thicker results and improve its health in general. When creating your kit, you will need to cover a few steps. First, choose your beard oils. Their Original and Sandalwood-scented oils claim to keep your beard smooth, silky, and smelling. All of their oils are said to be made from natural ingredients, contain no preservatives or chemicals, which can help improve shine without greasiness, minimize beard itch, and repair hair if it is damaged. The Original Scent contains the following ingredients: Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Fir Needle. DBC's Sandalwood oil incudes Sandalwood Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Sweet Orange Oil, Jojoba Oil and Argan Oil. It features a woodsy scent.

Second, you will need to choose waxes and balms. You will be offered Original and Sandalwood Balms both of which promise to combine the benefits of wax and oil by boosting hydration, encouraging growth, softening hairs, and relieving itchy and dry skin. This allows controlling style and frizz of your beard. Original ingredients include: Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Fir Needle, Lavender, Beeswax, Orange, and Cedarwood Atlas. Sandalwood balm includes Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, and Orange Oil. DBC Beard Cream is meant to maintain a natural look of your beard, condition and tame unruliness, nourish and hydrate skin. This cream is also said to minimize itch, protect your beard from harsh climates and keep it non-greasy. Its ingredients include Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Purified Water, Xanthan Gum, Organic (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice Powder, Apricot Kernel Oil, Vitamin E, Sandalwood Essential Oil, Benzoic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol Coco-Glucoside, Organic Coconut Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Organic Shea Butter, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Beard Wax, Lactic Acid, and Cedarwood Essential Oil. Dollar Beard Club's Wax claims to be made of cedarwood atlas, pure beeswax, lavender, fir needle, shea butter, and orange. It delivers shine and control, while keeping your beard healthy.

Third, you will need to choose shower items. They claim that their Body Wash's formula can be used all over your body to keep skin moisturized and smooth, while leaving a mild scent. It contains the following ingredients: Saponified Organic Oils of Coconut, Water, Organic Aloe Vera, Palm Oil, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cedarwood Essential Oil, Organic Rosemary Extract, Olive and Jojoba, Coconut Oil, Guar Gum, Vegetable Glycerin, Vetiver Essential Oil and Orange Essential Oil. Their shampoo is said to be made from natural ingredients, including Organic Aloe Vera, Saponified Organic Oils of Coconut, Rice Bran Oil, Safflower Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Guar Gum, Olive and Jojoba, Vetiver Essential Oil, Organic Rosemary Extract, Coconut Oil, Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Rosemary Essential Oil, Cedar Wood Essential Oil, Castor Oil, and Pine Scotch Essential Oil.

Step presupposes picking of accelerators. Dollar Beard Club's Beard Growth Oil promises to stimulate blood flow, soften your hair, nourish follicles, and grow a longer beard. It contains Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Vetiver Essential Oil, Cedarwood Essential Oil, Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, and Peppermint Essential Oil. Growth Vitamins contain a blend of multivitamins and extracts that might be beneficial for the health of your skin and hair, including Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Choline, Horsetail Extract, Para-Aminobenzoic Acid (PABA), L-Methionine, Rice Extract, L-Cysteine HCI, Vegetarian Capsule, Inositol, and Rice Concentrate. Growth Vitamin Spray promises to strengthen and smooth your hair, as well as to control dandruff. Its ingredients include: Peppermint Hydrosol, Water, Glycerin, D-Ribose (Vitamin D), Lavender Hydrosol, Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM Powder), Bamboo, Calcium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Phenoxyethanol, and Biotin (Vitamin B7).

As you can see, the company offers a great variety of products with numerous ingredients inside, but the problem is that few of them have been clinically checked for safety and effectiveness. So, you are never protected from possible side effects and adverse reactions. Finally, you may choose accessories for your beard, such as a beard brush, money clip, standard comb, sandalwood mustache comb or stainless comb.

Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?

Even though the club is said to have more than 150,000 members, there is little online feedback for both the company and its products. We found a quite deep review on SoCalSessions, that appreciated the design of products and the quality of packaging. But they found their smells to be too intensive. It was also noted that not all users experienced meaningful results as quickly as promised by the company. Some of them even said that the products did not suit their hair and skin type. Speaking about the shampoo, the author said that one bottle may not last a full month even, if you have long and thick beard. They also said that the beard oil's price was too high for a product of that kind.

Some of the most common complaints referenced the inability to suspend a subscription, unresponsive customer support and website issues. There are nine user comments on Reddit, some of which noted that they received more product than needed in a month, which resulted in a lot of waste. Many seemed to be unsatisfied with the quality of the products and their scents. Many customers confessed that they had the worst customer experience in their life. They were unable to cancel their subscription at any time as promised by the company. It is high time to take a look at some of these reviews.

"Dollar Beard Club uses unethical billing practices! They are not transparent, which means that you cannot sign up for a one-time purchase as you will automatically be enrolled in their monthly subscription. Your credit card is charged and then they refuse to refund your money. Besides, they have horrible customer service and their products don't work. Stay away from this company!"

"Dollar BeardClub is a scam! They have good marketing so I made a mistake to buy their products. I did not know that their customer service sucks and that their products are of low quality. What is worse is that it is impossible to cancel subscription. They ripped their business! I would not recommend this service to anyone"

"I made one order from Dollar beard club and was not satisfied with the product, so I tried to cancel my subscription by sending them emails with the request to stop further orders. But they sent me another order. I sent more emails; they apologized and said it would not happen again. But the other day they shipped an order of $35 of product that I did not want. I am sick and tired of this! Do not buy anything from this company ever!"

Where To Buy Dollar Beard Club?

Their products are priced as follows. 0.5oz Bottle of Beard Oils costs $1/mo, while 2oz Bottle is worth $4/mo. Balm (1oz) can be bought for $7/mo, while Cream (2oz) costs $8/mo. You can buy Wax (0.5oz) for $6/mo, while Body Wash (8oz) is priced at $9/mo. Shampoo (4oz/8oz) costs $10/$17 per month, Growth Oil (1oz) can be purchased for $8/mo, while Growth Vitamins (60 capsules) cost $19/mo. You can order Growth Vitamin Spray for $13/mo. Beard Brush is priced at $9, Beard Comb costs $5, Money Clip is worth $19, while Stainless Comb can be ordered for $15. Sandalwood Mustache Comb costs $7. The shipping is $4. You can buy it via Amazon, GNC or Walmart.

My Final Summary

Dollar Beard Club is not worth your attention, since it is associated with a number of complaints from many customers. While some oils are priced at $1, you will have to pay a minimum of $3.99 shipping each month. That's ridiculous. Their products do not only have low prices but also low quality, based on users' reviews. WebMD indicates that there is very little clinical evidence proving the effectiveness and safety of their ingredients. So, you are never protected from potential risks for your health when using the products. The customers are also not satisfied with the customer service provided by the company. With this in mind, I cannot recommend Dollar Beard Club.

Affordable Alternative

Many doctors consider that the problem can be well solved by another product known as Profollica. I completely agree with them because I study many products of the kind! I recommend you reading my review about Profollica. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
